We built Meeting Cost Calculator to help organizations understand the true financial impact of their meetings. In an era where professionals spend an average of 23 hours per week in meetings, understanding these costs is crucial for making informed decisions about how teams spend their time.

Why We Built This

By making these costs visible, we hope to encourage:

How It Works

Our calculator uses a simple but effective formula:

  1. We calculate each attendee's hourly rate from their annual salary
  2. We apply an overhead multiplier (1.4x by default) to account for benefits, taxes, and operational costs
  3. We multiply by the number of attendees and meeting duration
  4. For recurring meetings, we project weekly, monthly, and yearly costs
